The last couple days have consisted of me finally nailing down details of harpers 1st birthday party... Date, time, theme, decor, food and goodies. Boy oh boy it sure is a lot of work!

I know what a lot of people are thinking "it's not like she will remember it" and my response to that, I will and her family will. And she will have picture that show her how wonderful her 1st special day was and those will last a lifetime and because of that it's all with it to me.

Not gonna lie, it's overwhelming but it's coming together! Her theme is pumpkin and roses. Decor will consist of burlap, lace, pumpkins, and all things fall.

In the last three days I have accomplished scheduling her cake smash pictures for sept. 29th, placed the order for her cake, cookies, and cake pops, decided on the food and treats to serve, and purchase all the table ware. Compared to what all I have left to do this isn't much. But it's a start and it's all falling together.

38 more days until Harper Everleigh turns 1 year old!

Successful Weekend

I feel like we got a lot accomplished this week which is awesome because normally nothing gets done!

Jason has been working in Wenatchee since last Thursday so he has been home and Harper and I are loving it. It's nice to have him there every night and to help out with things!! But I do have to admit I had gotten use to the house being all mine for 8 months. Adjusting to another person schedule, sharing the tv and bed, and cleaning up after more then myself and Harper again is gonna take some getting use to again lol but it's worth it.

We purchased Harpers new bedroom set on Saturday so now all that's left for her new room is to take out the carpet and put in the hardwood! Her furniture should be ready for pickup in 2-3 weeks so hopefully the flooring is done by then!

This week marks 21 weeks for me! I'm hoping time slows down because I have so much I want to get done and only 19 weeks to do it. This pregnancy is so much different then with Harper. With her it couldn't come fast enough and with Sawyer I can't figure out where the time is going! Can't there be a happy medium.

To say its been awhile is an understatement

My goal for blogging was an epic failure to say the least! As Harper got older and more active there seemed to never be enough hours in the day, so fitting in blogging just wasn't an option.

I'm gonna try this again but this time with no goals and no expectations. When I have time I'll write something and when I don't well I just won't! Simple!

So it's September which means Harper is almost 1. I can't believe that it's gone by this fast. Everyday she changes and every day she never fails to amaze me with everything she is learning. I'm one proud mamma.

Not only will Harper soon be 1 but come January she will also be come a big sister. Sawyer Lee Ray is expected January 23rd and we could be more excited to welcome our new little girl into the world.

My next few months will consist of planning a first birthday, enjoying the holidays, and preparing for a new little girl. I'm gonna be one busy lady but I wouldn't want it any other way. I love my life and my family and I could ask for anything more :)
