Day 05 - A picture of your favorite memory

Nathenas Wedding! It was an amazing day! I was so blessed to get to be a part of it. It was stressful and hectic to prepare for but it the end it was all worth it. And i couldnt be more happier for my sister and her little family!

Quite Time...

I cant believe that everyone is asleep and its super quite in my house and its only 8 o'clock.  Harper went to bed about 45 minutes ago and her daddy followed shortly after. Its too early for me to head to bed so im catching up on all of last weeks shows that I didnt get a chance to watch.  Its nice to get to sit her and just have me time, but at the same time its lonely.  I miss the two of them when they are sleeping. But on the bright side I get a chance to write about our weekend.

On Friday while I was at work Harper was at her grandmas and I get a text message saying she rolled over! I was so sad that I missed it. It was such a huge bummer to miss that milestone.  I was hoping that she would do it again as soon as I got home, but she didnt. She wouldnt even try to do.

Jason had another weekend off from his railroad training so he got to come home and spend it here with his girls.  I love when he comes home because although we have an apartment in Spokane it doesnt feel like "home" does.  This weekend will be the last time he gets to do that for probably at least a couple months.  So spokane, get ready... harper and I will back in town every week!

We spent most of this weekend just bummin around the house, spending time as a family.  Saturday we went to the new yogurt place in Moses Lake, its one of those ones where you pick your yogurt flavor and then put in whatever toppings you want. It was pretty darn good!  Then we came home and spent the rest of the evening playing on the floor with harper.

Sunday we got up early, went to the store and got me a treadmill! Im super excited about this because I need to get back into shape.  I gained 57 pounds while I was pregnant with harper and still have 20 to lose to be back to where I start.  Since summer is coming, Im finally at the point where enough is enough and Im getting back on track with a health life style and body!

While Jason was putting together the treadmill, I decided to rearragne the living room. Because we were both trying to get stuff done I decided to put harper on the floor on her back with the dogs so that she would stay occupied long enough for me to get the living room done. I finished the living room and because she was still very content and not being fussy I decided to go in the kitchen for a quick minute to wash teh few dishes that were in sink.  And when I come back into the living room guess what she did.... ROLLED OVER.  WE MISSED IT AGAIN!  I was so frustrated with myself for being out of the room.  I went and sat with her on the floor for a good twenty mintures hopign she would do it again, but she wouldnt. So finally I go to change the laundry, I come back and Jason tells me she rolled over for him! So unfair! I think she just doesnt want her mommy to see her to it. She is just being a butt! I have pretty much given up on seeing her to it because my timing is horriable lol. 

That was our weekend, pretty uneventful but amazing because we got to spend it as a family together.

This is me with my niece Brylee. Shes an awesome little girl! Everytime Im around her I turn into a kid again. We act silly, be loud, and just have a great time. Shes 2 1/2 going on about 16, shes too smart for her own good and she will push every single button she thinks she can. Shes nuts, really she is but I wouldnt want her to be any other way. I think thats why I adore her so much because I feel on some levels we are so much alike!

The day she was born, my life changed forever. She made me a better person and she will always hold a piece of my heart. I love you Brylee Ann!

BIG BROTHER!!! And this is a picture from season 6, the all star season which was by far my favorite season because of mike & will! I mean seriously... how could you not love these two!

Even though we both have kids now and dont see each other as often as Id like. I love this girl so much! She has helped me get through the hard times, been by my side celebrating the good times, and helped remember the crazy times the next morning!

She is a great friend and my hope is that eventually our lifes slow down a little and we get to spend more time together. But regardless of the amount of time we spend together or how much we talk, I will always have her back and she will always be one of the best friends God ever blessed me with.

You know your a grown up when....

your new washer and dryer getting delivered is just the best thing ever!  I could hardly stand waiting the 9 days it took for them to get here. I couldn't wait to do the first load... excited to do laundry, never in a million years did I think that day would come. But it sure it, yesterday in fact!

We were eating at Olive Garden and I decided "hey maybe we need a new washer and dryer" and lucky for me Jason is a firm believer in giving me what I want. So we headed to home depot to look at front load washer sets. As you can tell I ended up going with a top load, which wasn't what i thought I wanted at all.  After talking with a sales associate and looking at the energy rating and all that good stuff. I decided that spending an extra $1000 bucks just to have a washer that opens in the front was not worth it! If  you know me, then you know that is a HUGE STEP for me! But seriously they both wash clothes, but are energy efficient, and both had all the same features. Why not save the $1000 here and spend in on my precious baby girl, she can always use new clothes right?

Anyways, these work amazingly and I'm so happy with our purchase!

My first blog... kind of exciting but more awkward. Writing about myself, my family, and our day to day "adventures" had never seemed appealing to me. Why change my mind?? I guess its because I've always been able to come home and tell the details of my day to Jason (fiance). He was always there to share my daily activities with. Now that he is gone for 5 months I suppose I just need a place to share and sometimes maybe even vent! Dont get me wrong I have Harper... but its somehow not the same to tell a 4 month old how crappy my day was, maybe thats because she just laughs at me.... to her everything is funny! Oh how I wish life was still that innocent. Shes the lucky one!

So my goal is to at least write a blog at least every other day, that may be setting my goals too high considering im basicly a single mom who works a full time job! But Harper is a great baby and I think I can do it. Another goal.. to do the 100 day picture challange!! Cant wait to start... but that means more blog time, less pinning =[
